Hello Azure support, my azure account was associated with Microsoft Azure Sponsorship. While trying to activate it I was getting error, it then later changed to azure account has been disabled. I have tried different way to ensure the block is removed but I have not been provide with any solution. I am not able to create any subscription or even use the credit to build my project. The account was disabled during the signup process, so there was no subscription created but the sponsorship credit is still linked to it but I can not use it because it is not activated yet and the account is disabled.

I will appreciate if this block can be remove so that I am able to carry out my project and use the credit for the purpose.

Thank you for your support. I have attached a screenshot of the signup error process

    Hi Glory Olatunbosun,

Unfortunately, account disablement during Azure subscription activation is usually something that community members cannot resolve directly. If an Azure account has been placed in a disabled state during the signup or validation process, only the Azure Support team can review and remove the restriction after completing their verification checks.

    Since you mentioned that:

    • The Azure Sponsorship credit is still associated with the account.
    • The subscription was never successfully created.
    • The account became disabled during the activation process.

I would recommend opening a billing/subscription support request specifically for account verification and subscription activation. Be sure to provide:

    • The sponsorship details.
    • The exact error message.
    • Screenshots of the activation failure.
    • The affected account email address (shared privately with support, not publicly on the forum).

For privacy and security reasons, avoid posting your full email address in a public thread.

If you are unable to create a support request because the account is disabled, a Microsoft moderator may need to assist in routing the case to the appropriate Azure subscription support team for review.

Community contributors do not have access to account verification systems, so this will require investigation by Microsoft support personnel.

I hope this helps, and I wish you success with your project.Hi Glory Olatunbosun,
