Good afternoon.

Im trying to get assistance with a ticket i played that ended up on the Q&A section but its been a few weeks now without any help. I can't find a way to escalate the ticket in any fashion even via the support page nor is anyone assigned to it.

Ticket: 2610150040008353

What steps should i take at this point?

Thank you!

A Microsoft Q&A post cannot be escalated by a regular user as a support ticket; only Q&A moderators have the Escalate thread option, so follow up through Microsoft 365 Support and ask the agent to locate or create a service request. ^1^

If this is a Microsoft 365 business account

  1. Sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center using an administrator account.
  2. Select Help & support (the headphones icon).
  3. Enter a short description, then select Contact support.
  4. Provide the existing case number and ask Microsoft to:
    • Confirm whether it is an active service request or only a Q&A reference.
    • Confirm its current status and assigned support team.
    • Reopen or escalate it if it is inactive.
  5. Include the original submission date, affected service, exact error or impact, troubleshooting already completed, and current contact details.

The admin center’s Support area is where administrators can view existing service requests or create new ones. ^2^

If the admin-center route is unavailable or does not expose the case, use Microsoft’s customer-support page, select the Work account path, and choose the relevant regional business-support option. Support routing varies by product and whether the subscription is for home or business use. ^3^

If the subscription was purchased through a Microsoft partner or reseller, contact that provider and ask it to open or follow up on the service request on the organization’s behalf.

If this is a personal Microsoft 365 subscription

  1. Open Contact Microsoft Support.
  2. Select Get Help and describe the issue.
  3. If self-help does not resolve it, select Contact Support to obtain the available chat or callback option.
  4. Give the agent the existing reference number and request a status check. ^3^

For the unanswered Q&A thread

Add a comment to the original thread stating that it has remained unanswered for several weeks and requesting moderator review. Check that it has the most specific applicable product tag, because tags determine which subject experts can find and monitor a question. ^4^

Do not post tenant names, email addresses, telephone numbers, or additional support-case details publicly. The case number already posted should also be removed from the public question if editing is available; provide it only through the private support channel.
