    Hi @David Elizondo

You can do all three of these yourself from the Azure portal. You don't need Microsoft support. Here's how, one task at a time.

    Give your software architect access

    1. Go to Subscriptions, open your subscription and select Access control (IAM).
    2. Select Add > Add role assignment.
    3. Pick a role: Contributor lets them build and manage resources. Owner also lets them manage access, so only give that if they need it.
    4. Under Members, select User, group, or service principal, then Select members, and find their account. If they're outside your organisation, first invite them in Microsoft Entra ID > Users > New user > Invite external user, then they'll appear in this list.
    5. Select Review + assign.

You can scope the role to a single resource group instead of the whole subscription, which is safer if they only work on one project.

    Change billing details

    1. Search for Cost Management + Billing and open it.
    2. For a pay-as-you-go account, select Properties and then Update sold to to change the address. You need to sign in with the account administrator's email for this.
    3. To change the card, go to Payment methods in the same area.

    "Reset" the account

Azure doesn't have a single reset button. If you mean a clean start, delete the resource groups you no longer need (this permanently removes everything in them, so export anything you want to keep first). If you mean a password reset, do that from the sign-in page with "Forgot password".

What did you mean by reset: removing resources, or recovering the sign-in?

If this gets your architect working, please consider accepting it as the answer. If you hit a permission error on any step, let me know and I'll be happy to keep helping.
