    @sherman brown

Check your notifications and see if they show there. I had this happen to me the other week and I found they were in my notifications and kept popping up. I did a, Clear all, and that ended them.

If you have an active McAfee account, you can sign in to your account and ask McAfee to help you. If you're having an issue with your McAfee account, there isn't anything that Microsoft can do about that.

    Hello

Welcome to the Microsoft Windows Community

Good afternoon, @sherman brown . Our forums do not have tools and autonomy for support via Chat or phone. You solve this problem quickly with a few steps without the need for remote access.:

Clears the cache and restores your browser's settings.

1.Open Microsoft Edge and click on the three dots (...) in the top right corner.

    2.Select Settings.

3.In the left menu, click Privacy, search & services.

4.Look for the Clear browsing data section  and click Choose what to clear.

5.In the time range, choose the desired period (e.g., From the beginning).

    6. Check Cached Images and Files, and then click Clear

    Restarts the computer

If it doesn't work, reset the navagator settings

    1. Open Microsoft Edge.

    2. In the address bar, type edge://settings/reset and hit Enter (or go to the Microsoft Q&A support page on resetting Edge).

3.Click Restore settings to default values.

    4. Confirm by clicking Reset

It ends with a scan against adware, just download and run the ADWCleaner tool.:

Restart your computer and let us know about the result.

    Hi!

Generally, these advertisements are notifications originating from your browser. Alternatively, they could be notifications from McAfee itself.

First, open Edge > Copy the URL edge://settings/privacy/sitePermissions/allPermissions/notifications and paste it into the Edge address bar > Press Enter > Under "Allowed," check which sites have permission to send notifications.

    • Remove any unknown sites or sites from which you do not wish to receive notifications—including McAfee, if it appears in the list.User's image

In Chrome, you will do the same thing, but the URL you will paste into the address bar is chrome://settings/content/notifications.

I look forward to your feedback!
